Our Story
In 2011, Current and Furbish made it's debut in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle. With a focus on unique items produced by small hands-on businesses, owners Cameron Vail and Scott Ward have combined their talents to create a colorful, engaging and artistic shop.
They like finding new and interesting pieces with an emphasis on locally made as well as US and European made. They also love finding old furniture and accessories and giving them new life.

In 2016, Current and Furbish moved to the Historic Fairhaven village in Bellingham, WA., finding it's home in the beloved historic Fairhaven Pharmacy building.  Fairhaven is full of small independent shops, restaurants and services.
We hope to see you soon,
Cameron, Scott and Dexter
About the Owners
  1. Cameron Vail
Cameron grew up in retail. His father was a pharmacist in Northern California and Cameron started working for him as a young boy. Prior to opening C and F, Cameron was managing the Red Balloon Company in Seattle. It seems to be no accident that Cameron would land in an old pharmacy.
  2. Scott Ward
Scott avoided being an artist until he couldn't ignore it anymore. In 1999, he started painting. This many years later, has shown across the country, created hundreds of paintings, developed a small line of products and has illustrated several books. Now his art has a home at Current and Furbish.
  3. Dexter
Dexter, the miniature Schnauzer was born on the very day that Current and Furbish opened in Magnolia. On some days, Dexter earns his keep by greeting customers at the store.
